Who We Are

Huntsville Young Professionals is a community of professionals in their 20s to mid-40s across Madison County.  Our mission is to foster relationship-building, career development, entrepreneurial endeavors and civic involvement among young professionals.  The HYP vision is to empower our members to be leaders in business and our local communities.

Leadership

The leadership in our organization is a collaborative meritocracy.  HYP seeks to empower our volunteers who demonstrate leadership, initiative and vision.  Our leadership works together as a team to develop new programs and initiatives, plan and coordinate events, programs and projects, and communicate with our members.  The role of our leaders is to build HYP into the premiere young professionals organization in Alabama.  We appreciate that the only way to do that is to create an organization that is focused on the needs and interests of our members.

About Our Members

HYP members come from various professions and industries. Our members include accountants, architects, engineers, entrepreneurs, lawyers, and other young professionals in energy, finance & financial services, healthcare, information technology, public relations, real estate, telecommunications, as well as charities and non-profit organizations.
